The MDC Solid Waste App allows Miami-Dade County residents to manage County solid waste, recycling, and mosquito control services from Android phones.

Features include:

* Services Near Me
This function will help you find the Trash and Recycling Center (TRC) and Home Chemical Collection Center nearest to your home.

* Request a Service
Request a bulky waste pickup, file an illegal dumping complaint or request a mosquito inspection, all with just a few taps of your iPhone’s screen.

* Pay Online
Customers can now pay the following fees using their Android phones:
• Waste collection service fees
• Bulky waste pickup overage fees
• Additional cart fees

* Recycling
Curbside recycling service is provided to single-family homes in service areas within participating cities. Information on the County's requirements for businesses, apartments, and condominiums is available.

* SMS Alerts
Sign up to be reminded via text alert of your recycling collection day the evening before it takes place.

* Mosquito Control
Report a problem with mosquitoes or learn more about how you can reduce mosquitoes around your home.

* Events & News
Find out the latest goings on with your solid waste, recycling, and mosquito control services including any changes to service, events, holiday service schedules, and more.

Terrible, I tried to schedule a bulky trash pick up and the app is not reading my address, it is entered in the correct format, I tried other addresses and it has the same problem.

This isnt a comprehensive review of the app, I just downloaded hoping to find out my recycling schedule. Unfortunately that does not seem possible, or atleast I couldn't figure it out.

Seriously? Recycle wasn't picked up and nwitger 311 phone, the app nor the website accept my perfectly accurate address. Waste of time.
