I noticed the further you zoom in the data changes significantly. I am also wondering if this was a one time purchase or will I continued to be billed? I can't find any info on that. Thanks, Too many crashes. I un-installed the app and re-installed, works alot better now. I really like this app, very informative. Would be super cool to have a microscope & UV light opinion. Yes, about the zooming in/out. It says something different if you make the square smaller. Thank you for the app!

This app is a must have for geology students. It doesn't replace your classes, but it explains the basics perfectly and has so many tools to help you identify the rock you are working with, and of course its minerals and crystals, all put together in a really good way. It also has different types of charts, diagrams and geological maps, as well as 3D modeled crystals and rocks, so that you can compare them to what you have. Perfect app to work with, either at home or on the field. Great work!

Extremely informative and valuable for all audiences, not just geologists! Paid upfront and was not let down one bit; amazing user experience, it's smooth, neat and constantly being updated. I usually don't leave reviews but this app definitely deserved a shout out - my kids love it! It would be cool if there was a space where you could describe a rock, like a little multiple choice type quiz, describe colour, colour intensity, weight, shape, smoothness etc. to support identification of photos
