An engaging reference and visit tracking tool with pictures, info, maps and links to information on holy places of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (aka Mormon or LDS).

Create your personal history of our sacred Temples, Historical Sites and Visitors' Centers by tracking visits with notes, picture and the ordinances performed.

• Summary page showing the total number of places, the number of places visited and the number of ordinances performed for each year and overall
• Temple themed inspirational quotes
• Filter the list of places by category, visited or not-visited
• Sort the list of places by Alphabetical, Nearest, Country, Dedication Date or Size (temples)
• Place Details page has quick links to map the location, navigate to the place, call the number or view the place's website
• Filter Visits by ordinance type or favorites
• Regular updates pushed to the app including the progress of temples under construction

The Holy Places logo, created by my teenage daughter, features The Morning Star from the stained glass windows of the Nauvoo Temple. The logo represents both the Historical and Temple aspects of the Holy Places app.

A+ This is a Must Have! I've had this app since it first became available for Android. It's well presented with easy-to-use interactive content to track temples and historical sites. Journal feature is a plus. And every announcement of new temples--as well as groundbreaking, artist rendition, dedication info--is included in periodic updates, so I feel like I'm up to speed on the latest news every time I open the app. I love that I can track temple visits as well. Thank you for creating this!

Love this app! It's great to have a way to set goals and track my temple visits, but it's also an awesome resource for seeing the locations and status of all the temples.

I love both the idea and quality of this app. I wish I had something like this earlier to record all of my temple trips, but it will be a great tool going forward for planning and recording temple and other church site visits.

What’s new

- Added a reminder dialog on the Visits tab occasionally prompting users to back up their visit data using the Export feature
- Added a one-time invitation to rate the app on Google Play Store, appearing on the Summary tab after recording 4 or more visits
