Ratings and reviews

This is a good app for learning a language. You can read and listen to the language. It remembers what track you last listened to, but does not remember what page you last read. So my only suggestion for improving it would be to make a bookmark or sticky feature so that you don't lose your place in the reading portion of the app. (EDIT: there is a bookmark feature, but it doesn't jump to your bookmarked page, you have to flip through pages to get to the bookmarked page). It's a good app overall.

The app is not as bad as the reviews make it out to be. I had no issue downloading the sections for the course and playing them. I don't know about the bug stated in one review that occurs when the phone falls asleep; if you're not pausing the course regularly, you're not following the course instructions. I wish the previous and next track buttons were further away / different place from the pause and rewind buttons because they're infrequently used. Suggest adding -10 / +10 second buttons.

This method of language learning is so helpful for me (I'm learning Japanese). The pace of learning is slow but it's so easy and effortless. You'll never struggle to remember what you're learning. There are grammar explanations, cultural tips, and the benefit of having a native speaker. It's an invaluable resource. You must download each file to listen to it, which is fine except that I haven't found a way to delete them after. I wish they had a written language guide too (kanji is a nightmare).
