Drops – The Rain Alarm is an app to do with one of the favourite talking points: the weather. More particularly the rain. Its sole task is to let you know when the rain is about to start, albeit with a bit of warning, in your area. Or anywhere else you’d like to know about.

Drops – The Rain Alarm can tell you at a glance exactly when it will rain up to two hours in advance. With down-to-the-minute forecasts, you’ll know exactly when the rain will start or stop, right where you're standing.

What Drops – The Rain Alarm offers you:
- Receive down-to-the-minute alerts before it starts raining at your exact location!
- An accurate precipitation forecast for the next two hours
- An interactive rainfall radar map
- Extensive 14-day weather forecast

Ratings and reviews

Great app and accurate for amounts and times, but worth bearing in mind the weather can obviously change after you've looked at this, so keep your eye on it. Main plus for me is the display of how heavy the rain will be, not the percentage chance. A game-changer since we are prone to flooding.

I want to say it's a great app, with a functional widget, relatively appropriate pricing (currently 1.99€/year) although would still prefer one time payment. But all of that is ruined by dis functional cookie settings, denying access to personalisation makes you stuck in a loop. I will accept ads, I will _not_ accept data brokers hoarding my unwillingly taken personal information.

Terrible Up until today (23/5/25) it was fantastic and very accurate. Today, it wouldn't let me access it as an ad kept wanting me to pay for a premium service. I uninstalled, reinstalled and now it won't let me go past where it wants cookies. Why do developers want to change everything when it was working fine. Uninstalled now and I advise everyone else to do the same. Completely ruined it. Since I wrote this the issue appears resolved so it's back to its best
