AB Music Trainer is a free music and video player that lets you train on your favorite songs or audio by repeating sections.

useful loop trainer! easy to adjust speed and pitch. I set a section of a song to loop, set a slower speed, play over it until I can do it at that speed, and then slowly increase speed. it saves your loop points in a library, and any mp3 on your device can be used. great for song practice when on travel.interface takes a bit of work to figure out. crashed in 2025... upgraded to pixel 8a, but an update at some point got it working again. appreciate the author restoring this app!

I had this app for a while doing AB loops for video, and it was really good for that function. The one and only feature that would've made the app great was the ability to zoom, which it currently lacks. If it had that feature, I probably would've kept it. Otherwise, if I could, I'd give 4.5 stars. Overall, a good app.

It's not a bad app. There's one annoying drawback/glitch. I have multiple loops saved on one audio file and I am trying to have one loop played multiple times. I know how to set it to play multiple times, but that setting does nothing: it still only plays once. The only way I can get it to repeat multiple times is if I turn on repeat mode. But then each loop plays twice. I emailed the developer about this, but no response yet. He may have stopped paying attention to this app.
