About this game

Welcome to Aurora Hills!

Nestled deep within the Appalachian Mountains, Aurora Hills was known for its thriving industry and its picturesque landscape. Owing to the region's natural resources, Aurora Hills was looking to become one of the most prosperous towns in the state.

All is not how it seems, however. A series of disappearances of residents and tourists alike have plagued the region over the past few years, sparking a mass exodus from the small town. Now, in October 1981, the town is a shell of its former self. The prosperity that once blessed Aurora Hills has all but evaporated.

Working as a park ranger, you must investigate what's going on with these disappearances and answer questions that have tormented residents for years. Why has there been an increase in disappearances over the past 6 months? Why are there no traces of the people who went missing? Perhaps most importantly, who, or what, could be behind all of this? It's up to you to venture forth, deep into the national park, to uncover the mysteries of Aurora Hills...

I almost left 4 stars just because the game is pretty short right now, but I figured, if I'm only upset because I wanted it to be longer, then it's probably a good game. The puzzles are pretty linear (solve A to get to B, solve B to get to C, etc) but they're just challenging enough to not be pandering without being so difficult that they don't make sense. I do like the graphics. I think the story might be interesting, but there's so little of it so far, I can't be sure.

A fun story developing with challenging puzzles. Least prepared park ranger I've ever met. I think they should have had at least a few sips of that coffee. Camera and photo album were a cool feature. It was disappointing that most tools were thrown away right after using them once or twice. It would have been cool to hold on to some of them for use in other puzzles. I'm looking forward to the next chapter :) thank you

It's okay. The graphics are what captivated me to download the game. I feel it's stretched to make it seem like the chapter is longer than what it actually is. It needs a quick relocate map option instead of pushing the back button a million times. A little uneventful outside of the puzzles, and leaves no real curiosity to the storyline.
