Want to check a message, but not ready to reply?
Start with the notification content saved in Chatview.

Deleted in chat. Saved before deletion.
View content received and saved from a supported app's notification before it was deleted. Chatview cannot recover messages from before setup or content it never saved.

Check first. Reply when you're ready.
Preview the saved notification without opening the conversation in the original messenger. Viewing this saved copy is what we mean by previewing without read receipts. This does not extend to opening the original app, replying or following links.

Find that time or place again.
Search saved messages by sender or text. Search covers your Chatview copies, not the original messenger's full chat history.

Choose what to keep.
Turn new-message saving on or off for supported apps whose notifications have been received. Keep content for 7 or 30 days, or delete all saved messages and media. Expired and deleted content cannot be restored.

Before you start
Enable notification access to save new content shown in notifications. Captured content varies by app version, notification settings and device battery restrictions. Not every app or message can be saved. Chatview contains ads.
