Open a CSV file, make changes in a spreadsheet grid, and export the result from your phone. CSV Viewer helps you review lists, tidy tabular records, and turn imported data into a file you can use or share.
READ AND EDIT YOUR DATA
Work with rows and columns instead of a wall of comma-separated text. Tap a cell to edit its value, add rows as your list grows, and add named columns for the details you need. Rename a column heading when your data needs a clearer label. Row numbers and live row, column, and selection counts help you keep your place.
FIND THE RECORDS THAT MATTER
Search across cells to locate matching content. Sort columns to change the order of your view, or use column filters to narrow the records on screen. Clear filters when you want to return to the full table. Select rows and delete the selected records when a list needs cleaning.
MAKE THE GRID EASIER TO READ
Resize columns or use Auto-size to fit their content. Wrap cell text when you need to read longer entries; wrapping is available for tables with up to 10,000 rows. Switch to full-screen focus mode for more room to work. Undo and redo recent cell edits while you refine your entries.
BRING DATA IN FROM DIFFERENT SOURCES
- Open a CSV file from device storage.
- Start a new spreadsheet and build your own table.
- Import the first worksheet from an XLS or XLSX workbook.
- Paste or open a JSON array of objects and process it into rows.
- Paste or open HTML table markup and extract a table.
- Fetch a publicly accessible CSV using a direct URL ending in .csv.
The JSON editor includes a sample to help you prepare the expected structure. HTML and JSON processing checks the input before opening the table, so you can correct invalid content before moving into the grid. Workbook import brings in tabular values from the first sheet for editing.
SAVE OR EXPORT FOR YOUR NEXT TASK
Save CSV changes, or use Export to choose a new file name and create a CSV spreadsheet, PDF document, or JSON data file. A file preview shows the selected name and extension before export. Use CSV for a table you plan to edit again, PDF for a readable document of the current filtered and sorted view, or JSON for structured data.
KEEP SAVED FILES WITHIN REACH
The saved-file library separates saved work from downloads. Search by file name and sort by newest, name, or file type. Reopen a saved CSV to continue editing, share a file through available device apps, or delete an entry you no longer need. File types and saved dates make the library easier to scan.
CHOOSE YOUR WORKING VIEW
Select a light or dark theme, or follow the system appearance. A language chooser is available from the home screen. Core table editing processes data on the device; fetching a CSV from a URL requires an internet connection.
Use CSV Viewer for inventory lists, contact records, study tables, survey exports, and other everyday tabular data. Bring in an existing file or begin with a blank grid, make the changes you need, and choose an output that fits your next step.
