Ratings and reviews

TL;DR: Great features, but too expensive. The app is neat. Especially in winter months, it's extremely valuable to see snowfall in all these ways: predicted, recent, base snow height, etc. However, the recent price hikes are nuts. This app is now way overpriced, especially considering it's not something most people will realistically use year round. If you have some money to throw around, sure. But I can't really recommend it to everyone.

$50/year? Too expensive and progressively fewer features. I kept getting logged out, usually when on the slopes, which is painful. I can no longer save exactly where I am as a favorite and it asks me to upgrade when I already paid. For something I use 2 months a year, it's simply not worth the exorbitant fee. What a shame. I used to love this app, even at $30, when the features worked.

When I was living in Crested Butte, I LOVED this app. Joel Gratz not only popped in daily w/ accurate data but also explainedhow he was reading the weather models so that subscribers could learn basic meteorology with him. When I moved to Montana this year I figured it was definitely going to be worth it to pay for yet another. The local forecaster must have better things to do w/ his time than spend an hour a day doing the same. I won't repurchase next year.
