ScreenMate records your screen and has simple tools to draw and to edit your videos.
Record
- Record your screen with sound from the microphone.
- A 3-second countdown, then pause, resume and stop in the app. A notification shows while recording, and recording carries on when you switch to other apps.
- Choose the recording resolution; the options offered depend on your screen.
- Recordings are saved as MP4 files, with no watermark.
Draw
- A drawing canvas with pen, line, rectangle, circle and eraser, brush and background colours, undo and redo, and pinch to zoom.
- Show your face in a small camera window that you can move around while you draw.
- Save your drawing as an image or share it.
Library and editing
- Browse your videos and images, sort by date or name, search, rename and delete.
- Play videos and see their length, size and resolution.
- Trim a video, or make a silent copy by removing its sound.
Good to know
- Android asks you to allow screen capture when you start a recording. Some apps block recording of their content.
- Only the microphone is recorded, not the sound from other apps.
- No account is needed. Your recordings are stored on your device.
