Stack Tender: Supplement Log

Wise Oak LLC

About this app

Stack Tender is the FREE supplement scanner and tracker you're looking for. Bottle scanning is incredibly accurate and the logging and reminder features are flexible. No ads. No in-app purchases. Fast, intuitive UI. Huge catalog of supplement information, including synergies, interactions and contraindications. This is the app for people who take their health supplements seriously.

BUILD YOUR STACKS
Group supplements the way you take them: a morning stack, a sleep stack, one for training days. Each entry carries its amount, the days it runs and the times of day, filled in from the catalog and yours to change. Add a note about why you started. Pause a stack when you stop and it leaves your day; switch it back on when you need it.

SCAN A BOTTLE
Point the camera at a product instead of typing it in: the front, the Supplement Facts panel and the directions. Every ingredient is read off the label with its amount and matched to the catalog, the serving size and the directions become the entry's schedule, and the bottle goes into a stack as one entry counted in servings. You see what was read before it lands and can fix any line. Every bottle you have scanned is kept under Stacks, ready to add to another.

SEE YOUR TOTALS
Every stack adds up what it gives you of each supplement in a day, across its entries and the bottles in it, so the magnesium in a multivitamin counts beside the magnesium you take on its own. Tap a supplement to see every entry and product behind its total.

CHECK OFF EVERY DOSE
Today shows what is due, grouped by time of day. One tap logs a dose, or take a whole group at once. Log something extra you took off schedule, and finish yesterday if you forgot to.

SEE HOW YOU ARE DOING
A calendar shows every day kept, partial or missed, and how many days you kept over the last six weeks.

KNOW WHAT YOU TAKE
A catalog of over two hundred supplements, written for people who read the studies: the recommended dose and timing, whether to take it with food, dosage notes, synergies, interactions and contraindications, and the sources behind each one. Search by name or alias and add a supplement to a stack in two taps.

REMINDERS
Set the times of day your doses fall and get a reminder when some are due.

SHARE AND IMPORT
Make your profile public and share a stack; keep the rest private. Follow people whose stacks you like, star a stack to hear when it changes, and import one into your own, notes and all, to tune from there. A shared stack shows its totals too, and any supplement or product on it can go into a stack of yours from its row. Comment on shared stacks and articles.

WORKS OFFLINE
The app keeps what it has read and queues what you do, so a dose logged without a connection is sent when the connection is back.

Stack Tender is free. Your stacks and your log are private unless you choose to share a stack. Stack Tender is a record of what you take, not medical advice; talk to your clinician about what is right for you.

What’s new

- Put a face on your profile: take a selfie or choose a photo at sign-up or on the Account screen, frame it in a circle, and it shows wherever you are named.
- The people you follow wear their pictures too, on the feed, their profiles, their stacks and their comments.
- A stack's settings are a card on the stack: switch it on or off, share it, or delete it.
- A scan that cannot be read says why, a topical product for one.
- Sign in with your username and password in the app, or with Google.
