-5 stars, not plus So far very bad experience, it has hidden costs, many fake ads for work, which are not monitored. To apply for job You must to have virtual currency (connects), which are not cheap. I feel that ads for work only made to make your spend your connects. Employers are not checked, prices for projects are very little. I maybe new but so far I won't suggest to anyone, who seriously looking for freelance work. Plus 20 pre cent of your earned money goes to the platform. ,😠😡👎👎👎

Because the Upwork app didn't notify me, I have lost two prospects for not responding on time. Getting clients to respond to your proposal has been hard and on two separate occasions where they did, Upwork sent no notification. The first time I knew later through my email the second time, nothing. I checked Upwork app just to see I had been sent a message two days ago. This is not fair!!!!!! The app always has one issue with Android I have checked all the notification settings. It is on!

Ive been using upwork since before they were upwork and it was great right until they got greedy and started obligating you to pay for connects. The worst part is applying for a job and your application sitting there almost always when an employer is not interested and you never get those connects back. You're basically paying to "try" and get hired. Horrible. Then theres being charged a % of your earnings by them. Honestly you guys need to go back to how it was before.
