The application demonstrates the ability to run Visual Language Models on Android using llama.cpp, libmtmd and SmolVLM2 by HuggingFace. This application will eventually expand to support all VLMs in the GGUF format, but for the initial version supports only SmolVLM2-256M-Instruct.

Test Release of Baseweight Snap

This is Baseweight Snap, a demo of a Visual Language Model. This application does the following:
- Downloads two GGUF files from the Baseweight Model Park
- Loads them using llama.cpp
- Allows the user to run SmolVLM2 on images

Updates:
- Changed download source from Baseweight to HuggingFace

We do not take any responsibility for any of the output of the SmolVLM2 model, and this is strictly a promotional and technical demonstration.
