Check the latest commodity prices, how much each one moved today and when it was quoted, then open a chart to see how it got there.
Every price is shown the way the exchange quotes it, in US dollars or cents: cents per bushel for corn, dollars per gallon for heating oil, dollars per troy ounce for platinum. Next to each price you see the date and time of the quote, so you always know how fresh it is. Pull down to refresh.
What you can follow

Your own short list
Add the commodities you check most to your Watchlist and drag them into the order you want. The Markets tab shows all 26, and one tap switches between groups.
Price history and news
Tap any commodity to see its price chart for the last 7 days, 1 month, 6 months or 1 year. Below the chart are recent news stories about that commodity, so you can see what may be behind a big move. News comes in the same language as the app, or you can choose a different language for it.
Price alerts and a home screen widget
With Premium, set a price alert for any commodity: choose a target and whether the price should rise above it or fall below it, and you get a notification when it does. Prices are checked about every 15 minutes. A home screen widget shows the price of the commodity you choose, so you can check it without opening the app.
What is free and what Premium adds
Free: all 26 commodities, news, price history up to 1 year and up to 5 commodities in your Watchlist. The free version shows ads.
Premium is a Google Play subscription. It removes ads and adds an unlimited Watchlist, price alerts, home screen widgets, and charts for 5 years and as far back as the data goes (Max). If Premium ends, your alerts and widgets are paused, not deleted.
What this app is not
Commodities is a price reference. It is not a trading platform or a broker, and it does not give trading signals, forecasts or investment advice. Prices update when you open a screen or pull to refresh; they are not a tick-by-tick feed.
You can switch the app to another language in Settings.
