A hive notebook gets wet, gets lost, or stays in the shed. Your phone is already in your pocket, and it is the one thing you carry to the apiary every time.

Hivesmith is a beekeeping record that keeps itself. Add your hives, record an inspection in the time it takes to put the roof back on, and let the app hold the season for you.

· Inspections: date, queen seen, brood pattern, temper, stores, varroa count, feeding, supers, treatments, harvest

Hives, inspections, photographs, queens and reminders cost nothing and are not capped. No hive limit, no countdown, no advertising, no account, and no nagging. The app is free to use for as long as you keep bees.

PRO — THE RECORD BOOK

Pro is the paperwork you hand to somebody else:

· A season report as a PDF, for the association, the inspector or your own file
· Every inspection as a spreadsheet you can open anywhere
· Season against season, so you can see what changed
· Backup and restore, so a new phone does not lose the record
· The other three looks for the app

Pro is a subscription with a free week to start, and you can cancel any time. Nothing you have already recorded is held back: your records stay yours whether or not Pro is active.

NOTHING LEAVES THE PHONE

Hivesmith has no account, no sign-in and no cloud. It asks for no runtime permission at all, it cannot reach the network, and there is no analytics and no advertising identifier. Your apiary stays on your phone. If you want a copy somewhere else, you export it that is your decision and your file.
