Widget Studio lets you design your own home screen widgets from scratch, or start from a ready-made template and make it yours.

Lay out a widget on a canvas, style every piece of it, choose what each tap does, and place it on your home screen. Every widget you add is independent, so you can have as many different designs as you like.

• 140 ready-made designs: clocks, weather, battery and system, calendar, productivity, music and more
• Filter by category, size and style, or search by name
• Save your favourites and find recently used designs fast
• Using a template makes your own copy. Editing it never changes the original.

• 26 building blocks: text, dynamic text, date, digital and analog clocks, world clock, countdown, next alarm, weather, battery, network, storage, steps, calendar, media controls, counters, habits, shortcuts and buttons
• Tap any element to change its content, style, position and actions
• Layers, undo and redo, snap grid, and a live data preview
• Small, medium and large widget sizes

• 40 theme presets: light, dark, vivid and soft
• 34 backgrounds, including gradients and patterns
• 64 shapes and 10 typography presets
• Use your own images, chosen with the Android system picker

WIDGETS THAT DO THINGS
• Open an app, a website or a system screen with one tap
• Call a number, toggle Do Not Disturb, change brightness, or refresh a widget
• Play, pause and skip music from the widget

HONEST BY DESIGN
Android limits what apps can do from a home screen widget. Widget Studio never shows a control that does nothing. When Android does not allow something, such as switching Wi-Fi directly, the app does the closest supported thing and tells you so.

PRIVACY AND PERMISSIONS
• No account and no sign-in. Your designs are stored on your device.
• Every permission is optional and is only requested when you add the feature that needs it. The app works without any of them.
• Weather uses approximate location only when you choose "Use my location". Otherwise, pick a city yourself.
• Media controls need notification access, which Android requires to control playback. Widget Studio does not read your notifications.
• The microphone is never used.
• Export your designs to a file and import them again at any time.

FREE, WITH OPTIONAL PRO
Widget Studio is free to download and use, and it shows ads. Widget Studio Pro is an optional upgrade (monthly, yearly or a one-time purchase). It unlocks the full template, element and theme library, lets you save unlimited designs, and removes all ads. The free version includes more than half of every library and lets you keep two saved designs.
