Our main protagonist is Chaitali, the nineteen-year-old daughter of the great archaeologist Dr. Anand Nayak. The daughter is on a mission to explore the hidden excavation sites of Vadnagar as her father, an archaeologist with ASI has gone missing while on the search for a manuscript and a map. We have chosen our protagonist as a young girl to increase relatability amongst our target audience for the game. The daughter has been exposed to excavation sites since she was a child and was following her father’s footsteps as an intern at ASI working from the Vadnagar camp. She is well adept at all the tools that archaeologists use and will have access to an archaeologist’s toolkit that she will use to uncover and study the artefacts discovered in-game. Parallelly, we are going to be talking about the history of Vadnagar through the different artefacts that the player character will interact with in the game world. Their stories will be told through an in-game journal and mini-puzzles.
