Good For Me is an ingredient scanner for food and skincare. Scan a barcode or photograph the label to check ingredients, see each one rated low, moderate or high concern, and compare products side by side before you buy.

It works as a food scanner and a cosmetic ingredient checker in one app. Whether it's a moisturiser, a sunscreen or a box of crackers, Good For Me reads the ingredient list and explains it in plain English.

FLAG THE INGREDIENTS YOU WATCH FOR
Set up a personal profile and Good For Me flags ingredients you've told it to watch for. Pick from 12 ready-made lists or add your own words:
• Tree nuts, gluten, dairy, animal-derived ingredients (vegan)
• Fragrance, parabens, sulphates, silicones, drying alcohols
• Formaldehyde releasers, nickel, latex
• Your own terms, like "peanut", "soy" or "propylene glycol"
Matches are highlighted on every product you scan, compare or save. A flag is a prompt to look closer, and no flag is not a guarantee, so always check the label.

WHERE THE INFORMATION COMES FROM
Product details come from open, crowd-sourced databases, including Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts (made available under the Open Database Licence), with label reading and summaries assisted by Google Gemini AI. Crowd-sourced data and AI can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and recipes change, so always check the label on the product in your hand.
