Four suit stacks have to be built in ascending order (one for each color), using all the cards in the deck. You win the game when all stacks are completed, and the score you get is based on the number of cards added to suits and on the playing time. This game release includes a few useful commands, such as Hint, Undo and Auto (play); it also features an auto select option (the immovable cards of the tableau piles are automatically grayed out).
Freecell requires careful planning and strategic thinking, as the order in which cards are moved and the use of freecells play a crucial role in successfully completing the game. Players often need to think ahead to avoid getting stuck with no valid moves.
It's important to note that not all Freecell deals are solvable. Some arrangements may require specific moves to be made in a specific order, and making incorrect choices early on can lead to an unsolvable situation later in the game.
Freecell is a popular game for both casual players and enthusiasts who enjoy the challenge of planning and executing moves to solve different deals. Its unique setup and strategic gameplay have contributed to its enduring popularity as a classic solitaire game.
