This app use the Accelerometer sensor. All the android phones have it, so the app will work on your phone too. Also Step Detector app need to give permissions to physical activity and notifications.
When you start the app, step and distance counting starts automatically. To measure distance, just keep the app open and lock the screen, put it in a pocket, and take it for a walk.
IMPORTANT: You must keep the notification of the app open, that way the sensor remains started.
When you want to close the app use the power button on top right corner of the app. This app does not drain your phone's battery. May use the "reset" button to reset the scores, "pause" or "resume" to pause and resume the counting. After the use of "reset" or "pause" buttons you have to use the "resume" button to resume the counting.
When you want to close the app, just use the power button on the top right of the app. In that way you are closing the sensor and the notification that is keeping the sensor On.

This app don't need to sign-in. We never collect your personal data or share your information with third parties.
