About this app

This official app will ONLY work with Moodle sites that have been set up to allow it. Please talk to your site administrator if you have any problems connecting.

If your site has been configured correctly, you can use this app to:

- Browse the content of your courses, even when offline
- Receive instant notifications of messages and other events
- Quickly find and contact other people in your courses
- Upload images, audio, videos and other files from your mobile device
- View your course grades

The app requires the following permissions:

- Record audio: For recording audio to upload to your site as part of a submission
- Read and modify the contents of your SD card: Contents are downloaded to the SD Card so you can see them offline
- Network access: To be able to connect with your site and check if you are connected or not to switch to offline mode
- Run at startup: So you receive local notifications even when the app is running in the background
- Prevent phone from sleeping: So you can receive push notifications anytime

I like this App a lot. All of my teachers make me submit PDFs only, so I have to scan everything with my phone. Before I downloaded the mobile version I had to email everything to myself which was a pain. Luckily I no longer have to do that anymore. I also like being able to see all my assignments that are due without having to get on my computer to see! I would give this cute a five if I could do all my assignments on my phone. Some I can but a couple of them I can't.

Since the last update it has lost all of it's convenience. You used to be able to choose whether to insert images from the camera or your file browser, now it redirects you to the file explorer every time. The UI has downgraded, looking like a worse version of the mobile website. The app has lost all of it's convenience over the mobile or desktop site.

This is a clunky LMS. Even though it shows you all of your grades assignments, it has no calculations being made that produces a grade for your class. Additionally, the calendar functionality for the assignments can use a lot more imporvement. Overall, I get alerts to my phone about updates so that is a nice feature. That's about the most usability that I've got out of this app yet, the UI however definitely has room for improvement.
