Udemy is a great platform already and has huge potential moving forward. The one thing I would like to see is a "curated courses" section. As I envision the concept, what I'd like to see is a section selected from Udemy's content that is reviewed solely by verified professionals and/or college or university educators who actually teach the curriculum in question. Basically, as a community college student looking to supplement my official college courses, Udemy has *too much* to offer for me to confidently select a course to purchase that I feel certain will be on par and current with what I'm doing in my actual classroom. I'd like to be able to be certain that what I learn from a Udemy course will be relevant to my official curriculum (in my case, web design). Reviews from verified professionals and educators would give me that extra surety that I'm dropping my dime on a course that is current in my field. I'm *not* saying Udemy doesn't already do that! Unfortunately, technology changes so fast and there are so many frameworks and languages involved in (in my case) web design and development that I just don't know which one I should choose (I was just looking through the results for "PHP mysql", which is a classroom course I'm currently taking at Kalamazoo Valley Community College). I love what Udemy is doing. I think it's a brilliant way to spread knowledge, and I hope my idea gets some consideration- my college courses only take me so far, and supplemental courses "off the books" are almost a requirement for people who do what I do. Knowing that those courses teach what my industry is currently doing would give Udemy that extra bit of value I need (and I'd be happy to pay extra for it)! Keep up the good work!
App gives limited access to material quality, particularly video is limited to at most 720p, which is enforced even (or especially) when streaming to Chromecast. I doubt Chromecast video is even that much. Most of the time text on the slides is either blurry or unreadable at all, so i have to stream from my computer directly, making this app essentially useless. Also, I can't get rid of the sticky notification once I try streaming and stop it. It's just there until I kill (force stop) the app
You need to add a feature to collpase(like a bootstrap accordian) sections of a course. There's so much unnecessary scrolling when i have to look for a later chapter. There is no share button course!! Whaaaaaaattt?? Each time i have to google it for so.. I can't share yr courses with my colleagues how am i suppose to buy/recommend them if i can't discuss or show.
I am a Reiki Master and have had two excellent mentors in person. What I like about the Udemy course on Reiki is that Lisa has provided very organized, comprehensive and sequential manual. I have decided to use this manual as my guide now that I have students waiting for Reiki level 1. Thank you Lisa for your time and efforts, your commitment to Reiki sharing the broad spectrum of practices to benefit all that seek healing.
Thank you Team for this wonderful app!!Kudos to all of u!! But while opening the courses on my mobile app I see some glitch in the screen. The top ribbon which displays the course name stretches down till the middle of the screen and hence resulting into squeezing of the course description in just 25 percent of the screen. I am not sure if this a bug or something mobile specific to android phone. Looking up to hear back from u on this.. Thanks .
Good app. One thing needs to be done that after enrollment for any course you can't again see its description and other information. Please bring that description section again because I have enrolled in many courses and without seeing its description one cannot Judge which curriculum is best also I have enrolled more than 150 courses any many courses are on same subject but by different instructors so please bring filter options like best selling, students enrolled to identify the best one
