About this game

One puzzle, one phrase: can you guess the meaning hidden behind each drawing? In this word game, you have to solve dingbats where pictures and words are clues to the answers.

Train your brain by solving the dingbats. And if you have some difficulties to solve a dingbat, you can ask for clues or help from your friends to solve those wacky wordies.

Have fun recognising or learning new idioms through the levels of the game.

New dingbats are regularly added to the game. If you have a puzzle in mind and would like it to be featured in a next release of the app, you can also send it.

A lot of the puzzles are based on British sayings so it might be more challenging and difficult if you are not British.

I enjoy the combination of brain teasers and a word game. Lots of levels. Hours of fun. I share the easier ones with my 5th graders and go back to the ones I can't solve over and over again. Updated: Got a new device and although my progress carried over, my ad-free status didn't. I paid to be ad free and now I'm inundated with ads. Scam! Beware!

Scams you out of money before paying for ad free. A pop up comes asking do you want to be ad free and any amount is enough. When you click, it's for game currency. You then have to make a second donation to be ad free. ETA: I did not "get confused." The first and only option after asking if I would like ad free and "any amount will do" when buying a package was hints. That is what I purchased. Only then did ad free packages become an option. No distinction is made at initial purchase.

Hello. Thanks for your message. I'm sorry if you got confused. Buying hints doesn't remove ads. If you bought something by mistake, forward me your purchase confirmation and I will cancel it.

I really like it but sometimes there are really difficult ones in the earlier level groupings I know that it is really hard to make them feel the same for different people but I with that you could choose weather or not you wanted to have to have completed a number of puzzles to move on to the next level group
