The content of this app about "The Body", has been developed in collaboration between specialized chief physicians at H.C. Andersen Børne- og Ungehospital, Odense Universitetshospital and 10:30 Visual Communication.
The body and its anatomy are the focal point of all symptoms, examinations and treatments in the healthcare sector. Therefore, in the collaboration we have developed an interactive anatomy atlas for children, which all parties - hospital staff, institutional and school staff, parents and children - can take as a starting point when the need for information begins to become complicated and specific.
The information in "The Body" gives the children answers to: Where is sitting? What is the name? What do we look like on the outside and inside? How and with what "tools" do you examine the various body parts / organs in the hospital?
The content is divided into the following sections:
The urinary tract
Food for energy (digestive system)
Skin, hair and nails
Bones, joints and muscles
The senses
The breath
Cells and the immune system
The circuit
The brain and nervous system
What the body needs
The information is with speak and animation in the genre "Learning through play with tablet / mobile phone / touch screen" and some of the topics, contains game elements in the form of quizzes and drag-and-drop.
The app is for free download.
Enjoy.
