RAIN SAT is a WEATHER APP that allows you to easily consult the latest images from the most important meteorological satellites with a simple "tap on screen" to understand if a storm charged with rain is approaching in ITALY.
In fact, we must be wary of the forecasts, proposed by some sites, which vary in detail hour by hour. In fact, they are not possible with the current weather models.
For this reason, the forecasts we read do not always reflect what actually happens. This also depends on the fact that meteorology is currently a science based on probabilistic laws only.
The best thing is therefore to rely on real-time images from satellites that send us all the photos of our planet every day and that allow us to identify the movements of the rain and its possible path a few hours in advance.
This is the only way to identify the extent of the individual storm cells that make up the approaching cloud structure in the area that interests us.
Today the best reference for the Italian territory is constituted by the satellite network "Meteosat" which identifies a set of artificial geostationary meteorological satellites managed by "EUMETSAT" (European Organization for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites).
