About this app

Octocon is the modern, all-in-one toolkit for people with DID and OSDD to manage their disorder and express themselves.

Manage a list of your alters complete with a name, profile picture, pronouns, and any custom fields you can imagine!

Analyze your front history in complete detail in a list that goes back forever.

Keep a system-wide journal to note down any important information. Alters each have their own private journal, too!

Share aspects of your system with friends with fine-grained control, and let them receive push notifications for front changes. Octocon is built to be privacy-first; all data must be explicitly shared!

All of your data syncs in real-time with the Octocon Discord bot, so you can start sending messages on Discord as your alters instantly!

Have any issues, suggestions, or thoughts? Our community is happy to help on Discord! https://octocon.app/discord

I think this app has potential. But it isn't close to Simply Plural. The name and pronouns sections for an alter doesn't have the ability to put multiple lines, you can't use decorations from catbox, and I don't know how to make an alter dormant/archived for dormancy. Also, when I exit the app (but dont close) and come back to it, it leaves me on the “loading” screen and I have to restart. Other than a couple small things, it looks like it could be a good replacement for SP.

Good for a Simply Plural replacement since it's being discontinued. Like the interface more and the simplicity of everything, the only thing I don't like (or can't figure out) is the lack of permanent notification for a front status. We've been so used to that in our notifications bar so it'll be odd to adjust to if there isn't an option. If there is and I just can't find it, do let me know devs!!!

It's alright, It's a nice replacement for simply plural due to the discontinuation. My only issues is that very few of my avatars have transferred over and due to them being so far and old in my gallery, it's very hard to find them because the app won't allow me to access my full gallery and makes me scroll through 5,000 images just for a simple pfp. Just allow gallery access or something at this point please because having to scroll for an hour is utterly ridiculous.
