The app controls don't work well with the device as far as I can tell. The right side is finicky, even after they gave 2 earsets & 2 different devices. I like the product, but hope what seems like app bugs can be worked out. The device has limited functionality without the app, so at least the app provides different treatments. Have a premium trial and don't think I'll pay extra for that when it expires. I truly think the device helps, just wishing it could be more accurate in adjustments.

I think the device is great and really enjoy using it so far. The App is fine, gets the job done and the customizability of settings unlocked by subscription is great. The settings one gets for free works well if you don't need to customize. however I have had trouble connecting at times since the last update and don't see the heart rate/hrv tracking that was listed in an update. Edit: new presets are a very welcome addition!

1. Malfunctions some days. Stops the session midway. Also built in programs change without letting you know. You can feel some days, the same program has long pause durations and some days has none. It's unacceptable and makes it impossible to track the same routine. 2. Consumes batteries unreasonably fast. I need to change them roughly every week. 3. Buggy software, sometimes says device is "not charged", sometimes session continues and app no longer tracks it so you gotta start over.
