Our refreshed app makes it easier to log in with your fingerprint or PIN and check your cover details, keep on top of your extras limits and waiting periods, and find your nearest Members’ Choice provider and Medibank stores.

You can also use the Medibank app to:

• Make a claim.
• Update your account details.
• Request and download tax documents.
• Connect leading health and fitness apps to track steps, exercise, meditation, and sleep to earn Live Better Points.

To use the updated App, you’ll need to be a Medibank health insurance member. If you have Visitors Health Insurance, Working Visa Health Insurance or Overseas Student Health cover, you may not be able to use all the features.

Clunky, unreliable, interface is not good. Text for the messaging part is really small and hard to read, and the last time I use it the app kept crashing while I was trying to have a conversation with someone. The automated response system is TERRIBLE ("Help making a claim" "Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying" 😡). Worst part is that there's no option for doing it through the website. So bad it's making me want to drop Medibank.

Update: It is now 23rd May. Support emailed me saying it looks like everything is syncing correctly now. It most definitely has not. Absolutely nothing is syncing with Health Connect. 5 months for backwards progress and no points for several months. Jan 2024: Synch data mismatch with Google Fit on Samsung S23+. Move minutes was 89 in Fit, but 0 in medibank. It recorded a fraction of my steps too, so it doesn't tick off any of my activities. Zero sleep data, but it exists in Fit

It does what I need it to do, and I haven't looked too much into the other features. I would just like to edit all the details of the policy. I tried to add my partner, but I still need to call and can't access the chat function.
