I really enjoy this app and it's community. Although, I do have some issues with it. I'm not usually one to whine, but in the 6 months+ I've been on here, nothing has improved. Scrolling my feed can be a bit laggy and twitchy, images look blurry and pixelated unless you select them, does not incorporate Google photo folders while trying to make a post. It's impossible to find photos 😭 I hope the developers reads their play store comments bc I'm desperate to have Vero replace IG

Hi there, we have recently made a more performant and stable version of our VERO Android app available for OS 12+ for public testing ahead of its wide release. I like the concept, but a little surprised for how long Vero has been around that their apps are so buggy - lots of freezing and forced closes happening. Still more pleasant than Instagram, though. Desperately need the ability to follow hashtags instead of having to navigate to them and message threading would be nice. Update Dec 2024: Vero desperately needs HDR support if its going to compete with Instagram in the minds of photographers.

I love what this app stands for; algorithm free, ad free, everything the other social media platforms are not. HOWEVER, I would like to see it improve in the area of speed. It is slow to the point of being maddening. I make a post and can't even see it for twenty minutes. Other than that this whole app is AMAZING and so helpful to artists as well. You can even see movies on here
