The RehaGoal app helps people with and without disabilities to easily and naturally participate in all living environments.
It supports inclusive education and can be used in education and therapy.
Goal Management helps to find suitable jobs and exciting fields of activity in support facilities and inclusive companies, to improve the quality of life and to live independently.
The use of the RehaGoal app promotes the independence of patients/clients and guides them step by step through complex tasks.
Supervisors, job coaches and educators can create instructions for any course of action, adapt them individually as required and thus use the app as a therapy method or as a means of compensation.
Caregivers and those affected jointly identify relevant actions and break them down into manageable sub-steps. All sub-steps and processes are entered into the app and can be provided with explanatory images.
Initially, the therapist or supervisor accompanies the person concerned step by step to the goal, later the app guides the user safely and error-free through regular routines of everyday life or work.
Target groups for the use of RehaGoal are people with underlying neurological diseases such as stroke, TBI, inflammatory and space-occupying processes and dementia.
The goal management training can also be used for psychiatric illnesses such as ADS/ADHD, addiction and addiction-related illnesses or depression.
Last but not least, RehaGoal is used by people with executive dysfunctions and intellectual disabilities, e.g. trisomy 21 (Down syndrome).
Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) and people with Autism Spectrum Disorders.
The app was developed and tested in practice by the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences as part of the "Securin", "Smart Inclusion" and "Postdigital Participation" projects. Many publications prove the benefit.
