About this game

Discover the universe like never before with Solar System Simulator - your gateway to the cosmos!
Zoom from the surface of a planet all the way out to distant galaxies, then reshape the whole system with your own hands. An immersive space sandbox where you can:

- Explore the Solar System: Visit and learn about nearly any moon or planet.
- Travel Beyond: Journey to remarkable nearby stars and find them within the Milky Way.
- Create Your Own Universe: Customise existing bodies or add new ones with unique characteristics and visuals.
- Gravity & Physics Sandbox: Watch orbits and interactions recalculate live according to Newton's laws.
- Planetary Collisions: Smash worlds together and watch them shatter - with impact craters carved into the surface, sweeping firestorms, and glowing debris raining back down.
- Particle Rings: Add custom rings and see gravity sculpt them in real time.
- Accurate Eclipses: Witness solar and lunar eclipses with real-world astronomical precision.
- Comet Flybys: Observe comets streak past and interact with other celestial bodies.
- Surface Views: Drop to a first-person view on any planet's surface and experience its environment.
- Scale the Universe: See the true vastness of space and the relative size and position of nearby galaxies.

Key Features: realistic gravitational and orbital simulation · deep customisation of every celestial body · dynamic visual effects (rings, collisions, craters, comets) · precise astronomical events based on real-world data · educational insights into space science and physics · explore at your own pace.
Start your cosmic adventure today with Solar System Simulator and explore the wonders of space!

this is a great game, it's always fun to create your own system. although from time to time the lighting is bugged, and the day side of planets gets flooded in light even out to the cold zone of a star. and some types of stars, when I'm trying to place planets to orbit it, the grid is vertical, please fix these. other than that this is a great game

This is awesome, though, there should be more options to do, I would like if you were to add Quasars, and more Galaxy skins. And I would like if you can add properties to Brown Dwarfs like rings, cause you cant. There are also lots of bugs when you use Orbit Helper to orbit an object far away, cause the display would sometimes be facing the wrong direction.

the first time I played this I loved it but later on it gets very boring and its very confusing to learn but one recommendation that could fix this is if you could actually choose what planets, stars, black holes, or neutron stars you want to place/add when creating a new planet and the game constantly freezes or bugs if you try to increase the size of anything to a high amount, if your going to let us do that can you at least make it work correctly. Otherwise this game is good 5 stars.

What’s new

Planetary collisions just got a major upgrade!

- Impacts now carve real craters into the planet's surface
- Watch firestorms sweep across the world after a hit
- Glowing ejecta and debris rain back down from the blast
- Molten crater glow
- Smoother performance and faster startup, especially on older devices
- Various bug fixes and stability improvements

Thanks for playing! Keep the feedback coming.
