If you highlight a verse to keep your place, it's gone if you restart the app. You can't start on a specific verse. You have to figure it out with a slider that does not work when the app freezes.

I searched for a couple of weeks looking for a simple audio app to replace the one I had that quit. All the ones I found were connected with reading and studies and music, verses, prayer bells and on and on. This version stops at end of a book but continues through chapters. Easy navigation so far. I finally found something to just listen to Would love to have a KJV or NKJV in this mode. Also, Phil Fields' pronunciations of places and names is forced, confusing and, well, a little silly.

The narrator's voice has good inflection, tone and debth, and is comforting and eat to listen to. Once you begin playing the Bible via sound, it continues on with just a pause between chapters, without having to press play again and again. It's easy to use and simply wonderful. I can put on my headphones, hop on my treadmill and not be bothered again with the app until I am completely done. Doesn't seem like much to ask, but I searched and searched and searched! This one is perfect!
