About this app

MuPDF viewer is an app for reading PDF, XPS, CBZ, and unprotected EPUB documents.

This is a slim version of the MuPDF app, which focuses on reading only. It does not support editing annotations or filling out forms.

Tapping on the left and right side of the screen will flip to the previous and next pages. Tapping in the middle of the screen will bring up or hide the tool bars.

The link button in the tool bar will toggle highlighting hyperlinks. When the links are highlighted they are also active and tappable. You can pinch to zoom in and out. When zoomed in, tapping will scroll to advance to the next screenful of content.

The toolbar also has a search button, and possibly a table of contents button.

The scrubber at the bottom of the screen will let you quickly go to any place in the document.

With the "Overview" system button, you can go back to the file chooser and open multiple documents at once.

Ratings and reviews

useful, minimalist, lightweight, reliable, fast, it even can browse your internal storage find files it can open, however there are a few problems keeping me from giving it five stars: 1. I would have preferred to see openable PDFs when opening the app instead of recents 2. As I'm viewing a file and using the slider on the bottom I'd like to see a preview of the page I'm on. But still this app is highly recommended.

Excellent! Small, smooth, simple, fast, privacy-respecting, unbloated PDF view-only app. I'm incapable of truly judging how standards-compliant and accurate it is at rendering PDFs, but it should excel at both. The difference between this app and the "mini" app should be MUCH clearer and not require visiting your readthedocs site to see, however, this doesn't block me from rating 5 stars; what does is that PDFs are a dangerous file format, and MuPDF is written in C, an awful, insecure language.

Lightweight & it has simple UI, but some pages got the colors inverted on black & white pages. probably because i use dark mode on my phone, but I hope the dev can fix this
