Who can use the app:

EyeOnWater is available to customers of supported utilities. Enter your zip code after downloading the app to see if your water utility is supported.

Water usage information is provided by your utility through BEACON Customer Engagement, a service provided by Badger Meter, Inc. If your water utility is not listed in the app and you would like to see them added, contact customer service at your water utility.

Ratings and reviews

The app does not show you real time usage of your water unless you go into the weekly, daily or monthly screens, from the main screen the app suggests that last week water used is more or less then the current week, these numbers never match. The app is good for a general overview but other than that it's pretty much worthless, so is the support team.

Pretty useless apparently. About 3 weeks ago my city replaced my manual read water meter with a new smart meter. Was told to get this app to set up alerts and track usage, etc. I installed the app, gave it my credentials, it found my name and address and city utility but it doesn't show anything now. It just throws up a pop-up that says I have a manually read meter so I have to go look on the website at any details about my water usage. As I said, I no longer have a manually read meter. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Adequate, but needs work. It has shown zero daily usage for months, which obviously isn't accurate. Today I read another review that reported the same problem, and that it was fixed by clearing the app's data and cache. I tried that, and sure enough, it now works. However, it no longer has any of the historical data from prior to July 2023 - that was when the city replaced my water meter with a new one. Before I cleared the app cache and data today, it did have information for both meters.

Version 2.14.00202 includes new password requirements for enhanced security, ability to delete EyeOnWater account from within the app, and bug fixes.
