I was drawn to Readest for the built in edge TTS, which sounds great. Much better than the default android TTS. I love the app, and I'm impressed with the functionality. Negatives: I'd love for the pages to turn along with the TTS. Currently, the book only catches up to TTS at the start of a new chapter. Also the app frequently crashes after exiting to another app and returning.

This is perhaps my favorite eBook reading app. It's not the most intuitive but it crams in a lot of functionality in a clean way. It also has one of the best TTS features. This latest version 0.9.71 seems to have broken the Edge TTS voices, which unfortunately are the best voices available. If your phone has other TTS engines, those probably will still work. I'm hoping for a fix to the edge TTS voices.

The app is a really good book reader, but it needs some improvements. I’m not sure if this is a device issue, but it was fast when I first started using it and became slower as my library grew. I’d also like an option to customize the order of grouped books, since series with different titles become messy when sorted alphabetically or by recently added. Also please allow the app to full screen the illustrations in the books.
