About this app

LabCase is a dental lab case management app for small laboratories. Track incoming cases, due dates, production stages and shipments on one Pan Board, from the moment a pan comes in to the day it ships back. Each case carries the patient's initials and the dentist's case number, the doctor, the work, the teeth, the shade and the due date. Share a read-only status link with each practice so their staff can check progress without calling the lab.

WHAT IT DOES

Pan Board
Every open case sits in a column for its stage: Received, Model, Design, Wax, Cast/Mill, Finish, QC and Shipped. Each case shows its due date, with colour for rush and overdue work. Tap the arrow to move a case on.

Case intake
Pick the practice and doctor, type the patient's initials and the practice case number, choose the work, tap the teeth on the chart and set the shade and material. The due date is worked out in working days from the practice's usual turnaround, skipping your weekend days. Universal, FDI and Palmer tooth numbering are supported, and VITA classical shades are built in.

QR pan labels
Print a label for the pan the moment the case arrives: a 1 x 2.6 inch roll label or a sheet of 30 Avery 5160 labels, through Android printing on a supported printer or a paired Bluetooth ZPL label printer. Scan the QR code with the phone to open the case or move it to the next stage.

Remakes
Log a remake against the original case with a reason (fit, shade, fracture, other) and see your remake rate by practice and by work.

Fee schedules and invoices
Keep a price for each type of work, bill a practice for its shipped cases, mark invoices paid and print an invoice or a practice statement as a PDF. Export your cases as a CSV file.

Dentist status link
Share a read-only web page with a practice. It shows only that practice's open cases, the cases shipped in the last 30 days and any photos you mark as shareable. It never shows your internal notes or other practices, and you can revoke it at any time. The page reads in English or Spanish.

Morning digest
One reminder a day with the cases due, overdue and on rush.

Works on a weak signal
The board opens from the phone's own copy of your cases, and cases you log without a connection are sent when it returns.

TIERS

Standard holds up to 25 open cases; shipped cases never count. Solo removes the cap and adds dentist status links. Team gives up to five people one shared board and shared case photos. Your records stay readable on every tier.

WHO IT IS FOR

Dental labs with one to five technicians, the people at the bench and whoever drives the cases out.

LabCase stores patient initials (three letters at most) and the dentist's case number only. It is not a patient record and does not hold names, charts or x-rays. Your lab's records are stored on LabCase's servers so every seat and every status link sees the same board.
