About this app

PitchRest is a youth baseball pitch counter that tracks pitches and calculates pitching rest days. Tap the ball for each pitch, and when the game ends the app shows every pitcher's count, the days of rest they need and the date they can pitch again. Coaches, scorekeepers and parents can check when each pitcher is next eligible under the selected rule set.

THE COUNTER

- One big button for each pitch, with Ball and Strike buttons if you track them
- The count sits against the daily limit for the pitcher's league age
- Warnings before a pitch crosses into a higher rest-day bracket, and near the daily limit
- A finish-batter option at the limit, when the selected rule set permits it
- Undo, correct a count, or change pitchers mid-game
- Close the app mid-inning and the count is still there

THE ELIGIBILITY BOARD

- Every pitcher on one screen: pitches thrown, days of rest, next eligible date
- Checks consecutive pitching days where the selected rules require it
- Share the board to the team chat as a picture

THE RULES

Built-in Little League Baseball regular-season pitch limits and rest charts, plus the Pitch Smart guidelines. Playing travel ball or in a local league with its own numbers? Create a custom rule set with pitch limits and rest-day brackets for each age group, or copy a built-in chart and edit it.

THE SEASON

- Pitching history by player: game date, opponent, pitch count, rest days and next eligible date
- Season totals and a workload chart that shows the last seven days
- Log a past game to catch up on counts kept on paper
- A game sheet PDF for the league's pitching log, and a season CSV
- Backup and restore to a file

WHAT YOU GET

The counter, the board and the built-in rules work for one team with no time limit and no ads. A one-time unlock adds more teams, the season log for each pitcher, totals and workload, custom rule sets, the PDF and CSV exports, and backup. No subscription.

GOOD TO KNOW

PitchRest calculates pitching rest days from the counts you enter and the rule set you select. It is not an official league record or a substitute for league officials or medical advice. Verify your league's current pitching rules before relying on the calculated dates.
