The Pathfinder Application requires the Pathfinder Connector device and works Android 4.3 or higher and up with Bluetooth 4.0 and BLE.

The Dogtra GPS Application works with the Dogtra Pathfinder and brings GPS tracking and E-collar training right to your smartphone.

App used to be great. Now, in the last update, I can't view my device list anymore or change the color of their icons. it's covered by a trade in your pathfinder 1 icon for credit on a pathfinder2 tab. I guess they are trying to do away with the original pathfinder soon. I've had them for over 6 yrs with no problems. that sucks because I've invested a lot of money into 15 collars.

Have been using this system for about 3 years and have had a great experience with it. Until the latest update. App will no longer run in the background, as soon as my phone screen goes off, it will shut down & stop tracking my dog. I have gone over all the settings and cannot find a way to make app keep running. Only thing I can do is leave phone's screen on, but that dramatically affects my battery life, and I have never had to do that before, it would continue to run and notify me.

I've had this for a year now and use it about 4 nights a week without any problems. just purchased 2nd collar and it works perfectly. there is a latency of tone/shock over long distances but that's to be expected. Up close and to 2 to 300 yrds tone/shock is immediate. Battery drain for phone hasn't been an issue at all. All the map features are awesome. App has run great with no crashing or need to restart. only time I've had signal loss was when dog got in a hole at about 800 yrds.
