I was a backer for the Kickstarter when this app first came out way back when. It honestly wasn't very good when it first came out. I would delete the app from my phone then come back to try it out again and I was always disappointed, even with the updates. But my desire to learn Brazilian Portuguese has never faded and coming back to the latest version, I'm happy to see that the team has been working very hard to make this app great and with the latest version I feel I'm going to stick with it

The important part of a flashcard app that is designed to use pictures is the pictures! Pictures are constantly disappearing so it shows me a word with "image not available" and I need to keep updating it like whack a mole because it doesn't store images, just fetches them. Even getting new images is tedious because the image search is slow. It's good at its job but very frustrating.

I want to like this app, I really do. It's nice to have a simple spaced repetition app specifically for language learning that makes it easy to make cards with images and pronunciations. But there are a couple of major pain points for me. (1) Images go blank all the time. Some words in particular are ALWAYS blank. Please just save these in app storage or at least give me the option. (2) No way to search/edit existing cards (3) Too many proper nouns being suggested as Spanish words in sentences
