Ratings and reviews

The latest update, on July 23, of the Fox Weather app, appears to have improved it. After thoroughly checking out the update, the app seems a little better organized with videos, news, and general weather articles, all separated, instead of scattered throughout the app. However, the bright orange "Read More"/"Go To Top" button on the homepage is still annoying. IT NEEDS TO GO AWAY, because IT IS IN THE WAY‼️ I give Fox Weather 4⭐s for improvements. I'll give 5, if you lose the button.😉

The apps used to work great, but lately, I keep getting this notice for the two areas I have selected, "We are overheating". And it does not display the local weather. What the h#$l does overheating mean? I updated to the newest version hoping that would fix it, nope. Either figure out the problem, or come up with a better, more informative message.

I liked the weather app I had before, but decided I would road test this one. For basic features, it fills the bill. The biggest gap for me in usability is that it only has one widget, and that one is bare bones. It is easy to add new locations, more so than some apps. I'll continue to evaluate it for a while, but unless the widgets improve dramatically, I'll be going back to the old one.
