I only installed the app to watch the show "Alone." It never kept the correct place where I left off watching, and about 80% of the time, it would not allow me to rewind or fast forward. I could only watch the show from the very beginning, so I had to rewatch a lot of content. If they fix those issues, it might be a good app, but sorry, the frustration built up too much from the wasted time. Thankfully I finished that series, canceled my subscription, and I do not plan to download it again.

Stop with the endless updates which force us to install a new version. You shouldn't make your customers waste their time, over and over like that. There's rarely a reason to require an update to be installed. Netflix has had one available for years, but the old apps still work. Tell your devs that CI/CD is cool and all, but each sprint doesn't have to be pushed to user as soon as it's done. They'll know what I'm saying. I gave it two stars because when it works, it's fine. See above.

I like the fact that you have live streaming for the history channel. There is a lot of shows on that channel that I watch so it's been great. The quality is great. I could really do without so many commercials, having 5 or 6 right in a row is really frustrating. With all the streaming apps out now I forgot how much time commercials take up. But on the whole this is a great service.

If you are on our Classic or Premium plan, you can record all your favorite shows and fast-forward through the commercials. We also offer HISTORY Vault as an add-on, with ad-free On Demand!
