Even with the developers advising other reviewers to update the app to the most recent version, it still has a ton of ads (one per action you complete) and it won't let you access the student portal until you subscribe to the YouTube channel and the notification doesn't allow you to close out of it, just the 'subscribe now' button.

This app takes forever to load for me. I have to click on student access 5 to 8 times then wait for 2 ads to load before I can even go into the class list or go see the grade book. It's very slow, buy checking grades on a laptop can be worse since I have to verify who I am by email/password then wait for a text then use the code to get in. This is such a time consuming process. You guys should also create auto notifications when something is graded so we know to log in and check the grades.

As of 1-16-2025, the GCU App continues to crash during launch. I open the app, the loading graphic plays, and then crashes before it can initialize. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, updated the app, cleared the cached data, and no luck. This has been a problem since November of '24. Nonetheless, the GCU App still gets a 5-Star rating because I love it, ha-ha-ha!! 😄 #LopesUP !!!
