Wholphin is an open-source, third-party Android TV client for Jellyfin. It aims to provide a great app user experience optimized for TV viewing.

This is not a fork of the official client. Wholphin's user interface and controls have been written completely from scratch. Wholphin supports playing media using ExoPlayer and MPV.

Please note: In order to use Wholphin, you must have your own Jellyfin server set up and configured!

Wholphin supports Movies, TV Shows, other videos, plus Live TV & DVR.

it is like plex environment without all that clutter and this should be the official app i believe. the only thing missing is the delete option to delete the media from server. both jellyfin and plex apps have this option.

Even though it is still under heavy development, Wholphin is quite stable and is already 10x better than the official Jellyfin for Android TV (sorry, official devs :/), not only because of the much better UI design, but also because it has first-rate support for using MPV as the backend, which is like the Holy Grail of video players. Good job!

wow this app is really great. Thank you for good live tv support. My only request is reordering the side bar. Thanks for a great app
