About this app

Through the HonySmart app, you can easily unlock the following advanced features:
[Map Save](Only applicable to some devices) Turn on the map save mode, and after operating according to regulations, advanced functions such as room zoning, merging and segmentation can be achieved, while improving cleaning efficiency.
[Virtual Walls and Restricted Areas] Set up virtual walls and restricted areas, ready to use and set, so that the robot will not cross the virtual wall or enter the restricted area during cleaning.
[Timing Cleaning] If you make an appointment a scheduled cleaning task, and the robot will start the cleaning task at the designated time. After completion, it will automatically return to the charging station.
[Selected Area Cleaning] (Only applicable to some devices) You can choose to specify a room for cleaning. After selection, only the selected room will be cleaned, and you can clean wherever you want.
[Spot Cleaning] Click on the location to be cleaned on the map, and after clicking Start, the robot will automatically plan the path to the target point and perform local cleaning.
[Resume Cleaning] When the battery level is below 20%, the robot automatically plans the shortest path to return to the charging station for charging: after fully charging, return to the unfinished area and continue cleaning.

Ratings and reviews

When it works, it's great. However, it seems to forget the map and need to remap ALL THE TIME. Every time I set up the room partitions, next time it wants to remap. Didn't run it for 3 days or so? Remap. Random no reason or logic at all. Remap. It drives me insane. Update the app so it stops doing this! Even worse, once it maps, if something was in the way during the mapping process, it forever skips that area and never cleans it (i.e. - dog, random item, piece of furniture you move...)

Will you ever update this app to make it work properly? From the first use after mapping my house, I have never been able to choose one particular area. I set the map by highlighting the room. When vacuum starts, it will then highlight all cleaning areas for a moment, then go back to only highlighting the chosen area. After about 10 seconds, the whole house is highlighted again, canceling the selected room. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice. I then have to remap my house. Maddening!

Ok for a new vacuum. The no drag area does not work, the mop drags through these areas. On the schedule setting, numerous option are in Chinese. Vacuum still works great. The app is not as good as smart 360 but having the empty base is the most important. I'm sure things will get cleaned up eventually.
