It was working pretty well for a while. The app needs a way to tell it to stop reading!! The app needs to not read messages when talking on the phone. Failure modes! (1) When first turned on the app sometimes reads all past text messages since when last used, necessitating the phone being restarted. (2) When reading a message from a group, the app first reads every member's name in that group. Wish list: (1) a one touch widget to toggle it. (2) a black list (never read). (3) don't read URL's.

Fantastic app. However, it suddenly stopped reading messages from Facebook messenger groups. "Ignore groups" isn't checked, but it just refuses to cooperate. I drive a lot, so it used to help me keep up with group conversations. It was my entire reason for searching and downloading the app in the first place. I've even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. If it weren't for this (major) issue I would give it five stars.

App no longer works for Pixel 3. I used it for years. Never a problem. Today I missed tons of messages and back to having a hard time keeping up. Since the update it refuses to read anything. I've spent hours. Downloaded uninstalled reinstalled opened a ton permissions. Googled it. Absolutely no luck. Any hints here cause I loved this app. It's a absolute must have.
