Upgrading my review to 4 stars. The audio-only recording bug was fixed in the Sept 11 2018 version update. Now, I can export audio recordings to files or other apps. Recording options are still limited, especially video camera controls. You must use this app to control the video camera; external video apps are not supported. Review of older version of the app: The app lets you record audio+video or audio-only. Audio+video works OK, though the video recording features are kind of basic. Audio-only is broken. I can see the video from within the app, but the buttons to save the audio to a file or export to another app do not work. I will upgrade my review if these issues are fixed in future versions of the app. The microphone costs US$200, so I expect a quality app to control it.

Did several tests that were fine, then used it to record an hour and a half meeting I'm supposed to make notes for. Went to sync, it sees it, claims there's no file there, now connecting claims open session and says I can clear the mic or cancel. So yeah, I have very limited notes at this point and a Memory Mic that's failed me hard. After finally giving up and trying to just format it the app crashes after making hooting noises so yeah

The mic is good, but the app needs to be improved : the videos taken in the app are too jerky (poor quality), we can't save the files to the phone gallery or music easily, we can't move the files to the SD card, sometimes the app cannot download the files of the previous recording session... annoying. I suppose that I'm not the only one to see these real problems.
