Chutex App is the mobile and web platform that bridges the gap between the physical protection offered by the Elder airbag vest and the complete digital monitoring of individuals at risk of falling or living alone at home.
Designed for end users (vest wearers), their loved ones (caregivers, families), and healthcare or teleassistance professionals, the app offers a set of integrated features to maximize safety, responsiveness, and peace of mind for everyone.
From the moment it opens, Chutex App automatically detects the presence of an Elder vest connected via Bluetooth Low Energy.
Pairing between the wearer and the guardian takes just a few seconds: the guardian taps “Add a Wearer,” scans the QR code or enters the vest’s unique code, and synchronization begins.
Chutex App links the GPS position of the Elder wearer with dedicated access for their Guardians (family, caregivers, healthcare professionals):

The core feature of Chutex App is fall detection and alert triggering:
Automatic detection: the built-in accelerometer and gyroscope in the Elder vest detect sudden acceleration changes (> 1 g) or prolonged loss of orientation (> 2 s).
Pre-alert warning: the app emits a local alert (vibration + sound) allowing the wearer to cancel in case of a false fall.
Alert dispatch: if there’s no response within 15 seconds → the app instantly sends a push notification to emergency contacts and the linked teleassistance service.
Location transmission: the alert includes a secure link to the Chutex map with the precise GPS location.
Automatic escalation: if the first contact does not confirm they are taking over.
Each Guardian can view the last known location and monitor how the situation is being handled.
