About this app

Welcome to the Speech Study, an app that collects speech data to support the development of an innovative tool for detecting ADHD and other mental health conditions using state-of-the-art speech analysis technology.

Important: This app will NOT provide a diagnosis or therapy; it is solely for collecting study data. If you require support, please seek professional psychological and/or medical advice.

Participation in this study involves submitting audio data through three short speech tests and completing three specific questionnaires designed to assess ADHD symptoms.


Important: Conditions for participation:

To participate in the study, participants must:
be over 18 years old
consent to pseudonymized data processing
not have a diagnosis of intellectual disability, severe depressive disorder, or heavy drug use
have good German language skills (both spoken and written)
possess a valid study code (this can be requested by email at [e-mail])

Procedure:

After installation, users can complete three short language tests (counting, free speaking, picture description) once a week and fill out three accompanying questionnaires (PHQ-9, GAD-7, VR-12). These assessments play an important role in accurate data collection and analysis.

Voluntary participation and withdrawal:

Your participation in this project is entirely voluntary. You have the right to withdraw at any time without giving a reason. We respect your autonomy and greatly appreciate your contribution to this important study. To withdraw, simply send a brief email with your study code to [e-mail].
