WHY WE NEED LOCATION DATA?
The app utilizes Location Services to record the most recent location of your Pebblebees, based on your phone’s geolocation data and your Found LTE.

Note: Continued use of your phone’s GPS in the background may decrease battery life.

Google's Find my Network is useless. I switched back to Samsung Smarttag as my main tracker. The Samsung Smarttag is actually picked up by their crowdsourced network multiple times per day compared to Android's find my network. The pebblebee Clip is ok, however I have had issues with the Pebble Card disconnecting every 2 or 3 weeks. It cannot be reconnected unless I reset it to factory settings and reconnect it. This can be inconvenient if it disconnects right before getting lost.

The app is really basic and if there's a problem, good luck fixing it. Put a tracker in a box to ship across country and the tracker never updated after it left my house. I purchased a clip and a card. They show at my home, but never anywhere else when I am out. Being a Google enabled product, I expect much more. This review is for the second generation devices as well.

I paid $40 for this to assist me, it leaves me stranded. Doesn't locate devices, location is not r accurate, doesn't buzz, doesn't find, mark as lost doesn't work, battery only last three months. Can't find my keys. RUN FROM THIS PRODUCT. DO NOT BUY!!! It's a great app if you never ever want to find your keys again. Yeah, I updated it. It won't find the locator pod 1 foot front of me.
